How your customers find a roofer
They pick up their phone and search. These are the kinds of things they type, and our adverts show you when they do.
- roofer near me
- roofer in [your town]
- roof leak repair
- flat roof replacement
- chimney repair
- fascias and soffits
What they check before they ring
-
Photos of real roofs
Roofing is bought on proof. Your own before-and-after photos go on your adverts, website and Google listing.
-
Guarantees and memberships
If you offer an insurance-backed guarantee, or you’re a member of the NFRC or CompetentRoofer, customers should see it straight away.
-
A local name
People want a roofer who’s nearby and still around next year. Your Google Business Profile and reviews do that job.
The year for roofers
-
Autumn and winter
Storms and heavy rain bring the leak calls. Repair adverts get more budget when the weather turns.
-
Spring and summer
Drier weather is when people plan new roofs and flat roof replacements, so the adverts move to planned work.
The roofing jobs we can aim your adverts at
Choose the ones you want, and we leave out the rest.
-
Leaks and storm damage
Urgent repairs after bad weather. The form asks whether water is coming in now, so the urgent ones stand out on your phone.
-
Re-roofs
The big planned jobs. People take their time choosing, so the adverts lead with roofs you’ve finished.
-
Flat roofs
GRP, EPDM and felt replacements on extensions, garages and dormers. If you only work with some materials, only those are advertised.
-
Chimneys and leadwork
Repointing, rebuilds and lead flashing, often found when someone is up on the roof for something else.
-
Fascias, soffits and guttering
Roofline work that some roofers want plenty of and others leave to specialists, so it’s only advertised if you want it.
What the enquiry form asks your customers
The answers arrive with the text, before you ring back.
- Is it a leak, damage or a new roof?
- Is water coming in now?
- Is the roof pitched, flat or both?
- Is it a house, a bungalow or a business?
- What’s your postcode?
- Can you add a photo of the roof?
How we set up adverts for roofers
-
Repairs and new roofs kept apart
A leak and a new roof are different customers, so they get separate adverts, budgets and form questions.
-
Your own roofs, not stock photos
The adverts use your before-and-after photos rather than pictures anyone could buy.
-
Reminders for big jobs
Someone pricing a new roof may take weeks to decide. On the bigger plans, reminder adverts keep your name in front of people who’ve already looked at you.

Get your plan and priceFrequently asked questions
A few things people often ask. If you have other questions, just book a call.
-
Can you turn adverts up after a storm?
Yes. When bad weather brings a wave of leak calls we can put more behind the adverts for a few days, then drop back once it passes.
-
I only want certain roofing jobs. Can you do that?
Yes. You tell us the work you want and the work you don’t, and we aim the adverts and the enquiry form at it.
-
Do you have results from other roofers?
One roofing and exteriors company spent £4k on Google and Facebook adverts and made £180k of work from the jobs they brought in, with every call tracked. The figures come from the client’s own records.
-
Do roofers need to be registered?
There’s no single licence for roofing in the UK, which is why customers look for other signs of a proper firm: NFRC membership, CompetentRoofer registration (which lets a roofer self-certify that a re-roof meets Building Regulations), insurance-backed guarantees and good reviews. Whatever you have, we put it where people can see it.
-
What if I’m booked up for months?
Then we turn the adverts down or pause them, and aim what’s left at the work you most want next. You tell us, and we change it.
-
Can the adverts cover commercial roofing?
Yes. Businesses and landlords look for different things, such as insurance, accreditations and past projects, so commercial work gets its own adverts and its own page.
